What if..

( WARNING! DON'T TAKE THIS ARTICLE SERIOUSLY! :D )

What if I wasn't born as a girl, but as a boy? Would my life be different?

It's hard to say, of course, cause I am not a boy. Unfortunatelly :D. I'd like to try it, at least for one week or just for one day. I'm pretty sure it would be an interesting experience.

Would you also like to try to exchange the roles?
How would your day as a different gender look like?

If I was a boy, I would definitely like to try everything that is not appropriete to be done when one is a girl or a woman.

Without any jokes, I would try to pee while standing. Seriously :D.

And I would try to sit like a boy without not having my legs together.

I would also enjoy the fact that almost all boys in my age group can eat whatever they want without getting fat. This is not fair. :D

What more, if I was a boy, I would walk through a shopping centre topless.
And I'd feel absolutely stunning.
What a rebellion.

Later on, I would ask some of my bros ( how cool, I have never heard a girl talking about her friends as if they were sis' :D and if ever, it hasn't sounded so gorgeously! :D ) to go to the city and watch girls. We would whistle and evaluate their bodies as professional Miss World's judges.

And at the end of the day, I would try to pick up some girls in a club, because the more chicks I'd have, the bigger man I would be. :D

It would be an amazing day, I'm sure! :D

magical place no. 2, PODĚBRADY!

Introduction

Poděbrady is a small town of about 14000 inhabitants which is situated in the central Bohemia in the fertile lowland area about 50 km from Prague. It is also situated near to the D11 expressway. Poděbrady is a spa town spreaded out on both banks of the river Elbe near the confluence of the Elbe and the Cidlina. The name Poděbrady evolved from the name of ancient settlement called “pode brody“ (under the fords). Poděbrady has only a little industry – Glassworks Bohemia which produces cut lead crystal and a dairy which produces milk products. We also have one water cleaning facility. Poděbrady is an agricultural area.

History

The oldest historical reference goes back to the 12th and 13th centuries. Poděbrady started to develop around a gothic castle which was during centuries several times rebuilt. Poděbrady experienced its greatest period during the life of George of Poděbrady, who was elected Czech king in 1458. In 1452 Poděbrady was promoted to the status of a town and was granted important rights, privileges, including a town crest. Several devasting fires hit Poděbrady from the 17th to the 19th century. The square with arcades was burnt to the ground. That changed the face of the town completely. In 1905, a spring of mineral water (96,7 m deep) was found in the second courtyard of the Castle by Carl von Bülow. In 1908 the first succesful spa season was launched. The Royal spa of Poděbrady was opened. The focus on cardiovascular diseases hasn´t changed to this day and the slogan “For the heart is Poděbrady“ is still alive. Hundrets of guests recieve different forms of treatment, e. g. carbonic baths, balneotherapy, hydrotherapy, message e. t. c.

my magical place.

To be honest, I'm gonna describe the place I've never been to, but I hope nobody matters.

The place is in Bali. We are standing on a spacious beach. It's warm and sunny day, because it is the middle of the summer. The beach is full of sand that is like a massage to your tired feet. When you look straight ahead, you can see a bright sea full of small golden fish. The water is blue, but still transparent like glass. There are also wooden houses built on wharfs that are used by a travel agencies and their clients.

If you turn around you will see a forest with so many green palms and hundreds of coconuts that fall from time to time and so the tourists can dring coconut milk anytime they want.

Above the beach and the sea there are no clouds, the air is clean like a child's botty.
The only defect is a print made by a small local aeroplane that is bringing fresh food and some necessary stuff.

You can feel the relaxed atmosphere on your skin and smell the aroma of holiday. Your ears are also enjoying the moment, they are listening to the sounds of parrots flying around and sitting on the palms.

I don't have a picture. I have an imagination. This would for sure be my happy and magical place I'd go if I had a possibility.

I will convince you or will die trying!

Smoking should be banned in public places.

There are lots of people smoking so many cigarets every day. Those people probably know that it is unhealthy, but the addiction is stronger. They know that they are ruining their health, but very often they don't realize that they are also ruining the health of others.

Thousands of people will fight for not banning smoking in public. What is the reason? The reason is that those people are probably smokers and need their "drug" very often. They cannot wait until they are in a place where smoking is allowed, because when the addiction is calling them, they need a cigarette immediately. People like this will probrably claim that it is not dangerous for others. Really?

Maybe they believe that the only problem about smoking in public is the smell others have to feel. And they believe others can get over that.

Given that smoking damage smokers' lungs, what must it cause to other one's lunges who also breathe cigarette smoke has already gone through smoker's body?

Honestly, passive smoking is even worst than active smoking. The smoke breathed out includes more dangerous components than the smoke breathed in from a cigarette. In that case even a person who does not smoke becomes a smoker. The smoker of more dangerous chemicals than anyone has ever imagined.

This is the main reason smoking should be banned in public even though some people would disagree. If one wants to risk their health, it's their problem and responsibility. But those people should consider others' health and do not endanger it.

People who don't smoke are trying to be healthy, do not ruin their efforts, dear smokers!

Scientific articles.

I decided to read two articles, because I thought both of them were very interesting.

The first one was about 3D printing.

http://21stoleti.cz/blog/2014/03/27/lekari-transplantovali-lebku-z-3d-tiskarny/

To me it is important to know that there is a possibility to get neccessary parts of human body even though there are no donors.
And the fact that even all skull was printed and transplanted. What an amazing news. You know, it could save so many lifes of people who are waiting for suitaple donors, but one never know whether these donors appear or not.

I cannot help myself, but I am owerhelmed by it a lot, even though it seems to be a sci-fi to me.

The second one was about contact lenses:

http://21stoleti.cz/blog/2014/03/31/kontaktni-cocky-umozni-nocni-videni/

The coolest thing about contact lenses mentioned in the article is that it would help us to be closer to animals. You know, we will be able to see like a cat. And more importantly, it will help in the army. It is amazing what are doctors able to do. Those inventions that were imposible to be even imagined few years ago.

I would like to try those lenses, even though I do not have problems with eyes. It must be amazing to see the world like a spy. Who would not?

Television is rather bad than good.

I must say that I don't like watching TV. I prefer to watch movies on the Internet, because it means that I am not dependend on TV guide.
And the main reason it that I simply think that there are better ways to spend time than sitting in front of the screen for hours, which means that I am mostly against TV.

tv-thin-man-fat-comic

Why?

1, It is a thief of time. It's addictive. If one starts watching TV, it is very often hard to stop it, which leads to hours of wasted time that could be used better. And it steals time even though you want to watch one movie only. The movie lasts 1,5 hours. The movie with commercials lasts about 15 hours that could have been spent more usefully.

2, There is a lot of violence in it and it definitely influence children's behaviour. They could be more agressive, because it's something they have seen on TV since they were born.

3, Watching TV may lead to conflicts within the family. It's common to have more than one TV in one house nowadays, but when it wasn't, people were very likely to argue about the channel they wanted to watch.

One of the family members wanted to watch Discovery Channel and the second one wanted to watch a horror movie. It all started at the same time. And there was only one TV. And the fight began. They were screaming and throwing things on each other. And the former killed the latter. And one of the CSI Miamy was inspired by that case. And there we are in another family. The man wants to watch CSI Miami, but her wife doesn't. They start to argue. They scream. And that is a cycle of life.. :D Just kidding, but arguments occured and still occure often because of the choice of TV channel.

4, TV separates families. As I've mentioned above, having one TV only was more common in the past. Nobody is surprised when there are 3 or more TV's in one family nowadays.

And each of them in a different room. And every single member of the family uses their own TV. In their own room. Alone. No more family meetings and time spend together.

These are the reasons why I don't like watching TV.

gods must be crazy.

This 33 years old movie is a perfect example of an intercultural issue.

The movie is about a man living in bush all his life who has never seen a modern technology, or even technology, or anything that makes one´s life easier. He is a member of an African tribe and is called Xi. One day he finds a bottle of Coca Cola, which is something he can not associate with anything he has ever seen. This is why he believes it is a gift from Gods and needs to be given back and so he rans through the lands in order not to make Gods mad.

While he is on his journy, there are some kids kidnapped by a group of criminals who failed in making an attempt on people and are now on their getaway.

The children are scared, because they have never seen a car before. It is something their culture does not know. It does not even know guns and threatening. The children are now lost far away from their tribe.

The third important part of the movie is a young woman who wants to become a teacher here in Africa. She wants to share what he knows with people, who have never experienced something like books, boards or
even stable tables.

The story shows how much the modern ( yes, seriously, I have just written the word " modern " in a text sharing information about the movie from 1981 ) things can affect lifes of those who are used to live in almost asolute harmony with nature and have never been in touch with stuff like Coca Cola bottle, car or even guns.

what is happening in the picture, man?

This will be a little emotional description, so uncover your feelings and share the love.

I have been inspired by our morning lesson and chosen almost the same picture as I spoke about today. The picture shows a woman right after delivery. She has just given a birth, which is obvious, because she is holding a baby.

Giving a birth must be an amazing proces. Look at her, she has just gone through a long and paintfull labour. She has suffered from horrible pain for many hours. She screamed, cried and I am sure she was about to kill her husband for what he caused her. She was probably extremely rude. But she could have been. She had a right to do it all, because giving a birth is hard.

But although she is happy at the end. No, happy is not an appropriate word. She´s the happiest person in the world.
Everything is forgotten right after she sees this little miracle in her hand. She forgots the pain, the torture she went through, because she knows now that it was worth it. There is a very strong bond between her and her baby from the first time the little one catches her finger.
After all the pain she is holding her new sense of living, something she would be able to sacrifice her life to and couldn´t be happier and prouder.
We shouldn´t forget that there is probably also a father somewhere there, which makes her feel even better, because now they are complete family.

To sum up, we can see a huge amount of happines in one picture, which must force one to smile. I hope so.

" This chart is stupid and proves nothing, "

.. said a businessman fired because of being responsible for leading an uneffective meeting.

WARNING! I'm not funny and definitely not good at telling jokes, but today I'll try, so please, don't take it seriously.

The chart shows the main topics and issues that are usually discussed during meetings. It can be seen from this chart, that talking about the topics that are crucial for the company are everything but not the most interesting topic. But to be fair, the chart shows, that about 5 percent of the meeting consists of debates about decisions.

On the other hand, anything that is not connected with company's profit is obviously very interesting. For example gossips. Everybody loves them and they usually make a good conversation. When participants don't speak about the fact that the boss is an asshole, which lasts about 20% of the meeting time, or about the secretary's personal life ( makes about 18% of meeting ), they are likely to spend time by talking about the only relevant things - about the agenda ( which could give them information about duration of their imprisonment in the meeting room ) or about planning the next meeting, which is, as obvious from the graph, the most important and interesting topic, because talking about it covers more than a half of the whole meeting ( cicra 60 percent ).

In conclusion, depending on this chart, meetings are set mostly to decide on the following one's date. What a profitably spent time.

Priorities.

Everybody has them and I´m not the exception.

Today I would like to write about those that are connected to my potential future husband.

To be honest, I´m sure that I don´t want to get married at the moment, but who knows, my opinions might change in the future. And I should be prepared just in case it will happen.

First of all, my future husband should be one of my best friends. I want him to be able to speak with me about any possible topic. I also hope he would have had graduated from university, because I love intelligent people who are great speakers. The most important aspect for me will be his addiction to sports, because I am addicted and I need someone who will share the same interests. It would be amazing to meet a man who loves sports as much as I do and who would join me while working out. The reason is that I spend a really lot of time by working out and cannot imagine my husband sitting at home doing nothing. What would we speak about? How could I live with someone who has totally different interests than I do?

The same interests. The intelligence. The ability to speak about anything and last, but not least, he has to love me more than anything else in the universe ( except for our child ).

I definitely must be the only woman he would like to look at. No exceptions. :D

And I also won´t want him to visit pubs with his friends. I won´t even want him to see his friends. Just kidding.. :)

Hopefully, I won´t be a hysteric wife forbidding her husband anything.

PS.: My future husband will be someone who will hate shopping. Because I do so.. :D
